our story

Ombak — which means “wave” in Indonesian — was born from a simple idea : sharing good waves, good food and good moments.

Behind Ombak are two brothers, Temon and Rosi, each bringing their own passion to the project.
One found his place in the ocean, teaching people how to surf and connect with the waves.
The other followed his love for food, creating local dishes that bring people together around the table.

Since 2021, they’ve built more than just a surf school in Lombok.
They’ve created a space where people can learn, laugh, fall, try again — and enjoy every part of the experience, in and out of the water.

At Ombak, it’s not just about improving your surf skills.
It’s about feeling comfortable, meeting new people and sharing simple, real moments.
